Review
With Allok AVI MPEG Converter you will be able to do much more than just encode your AVI files into MPEG videos. In fact, you can transcode any DivX, XviD, MPEG, DAT, WMV and ASF video file into ten different video formats. Besides, you will be allowed to burn to DVD, VCD and SVCD, and set up your quality preferences according to the codec selected.
The possibilities are almost endless - even though some conversions may not be initially supported, you can always get to the desired codec by combining two or more conversions. However, the list of possible output formats is already very complete – AVI, DivX, XviD, MPEG1, MPEG2, WMV, ASF, MP4, 3GP and FLV. All of these codecs are already built-in in the software, so you will not need to install any extra software to start converting.
This high level of flexibility multiplies with the different quality settings allowed for every video format. Its basic video editor allows you to trim parts of the source file by defining a start time and an end time for every video file. You may also want to burn your videos directly into DVD, VCD and SVCD, in either NTSC or PAL, for both 4:3 (full screen) and 16:9 (widescreen) television standards - Allok AVI MPEG Converter will prepare the necessary files for third-party burning software to create those discs for you – either a VIDEO_TS folder for DVD discs, or BIN and CUE image files for VCDs and SVCDs. |
